Kim and Adam met at the ages of 19 and 20. Kim was invited to a fun New Year's Eve Party at UC Davis her freshman year of college. Kim was promised a fun night of laughs, food, and drinks, but she’d have to sleep on the floor with 20 other people at some college boy’s house. Unbeknownst to Kim, Adam was that college boy. It was an excellent party, definitely ask the groomsmen—about four out of seven were in attendance! ;). 

Fast forward to August 2021—Kim and Adam reconnected on Hinge. Kim liked Adam’s photo, and Adam responded by saying “Hey Kim- Long time”. Kim didn’t remember meeting Adam and asked…“Have we met”? Adam said, “Yes, you attended my New Year's Eve party and we used to hang out with our mutual friend Robbie (groomsmen) on the weekends”. Kim had no recollection of this, but Adam reminded her that there was a photo album on Facebook from his awesome party. Kim said, “Send the album!”

Kim and Adam had a very nice time and grabbed drinks at Mortar and Pestle on their first date. They caught up chatting about the last 8 years. It was a friendly meetup, and Kim told Adam she’d circle back after her travels. She may have forgotten… 

In May 2022, Kim and Adam ran into each other in San Diego at the club Omnia. Adam’s job was to bring back girls to the table and their mission was accomplished when he ran into Kim and her friends. Sparks flew and Adam and Kim said they couldn’t wait to go on their second date in the Bay Area. 

In the last two and a half years, Kim and Adam traveled to Japan, France, and Italy, spent time with friends and family, and went on lots of fun, cute dates. They realized how fun and easy sharing a life together was, and they couldn't imagine doing it with anyone else. On August 10th, Adam proposed on the beach in Carmel. Kim said yes! Adam and Kim are overjoyed with love and so excited to share their special day with the people they adore.
